Hats in route ;)

Hello people just to update everyone I have finished 5 hats and a scarf and they are on their way to New Jersey.I did not take pics because my phone broke;)Bit I will add pics when Sarah gets them.She has been doing great work inspiring people and organizing things to make sure that the victims of Sandy being helped.To date she has collected 1021

Well I did it! Crocheted poppies for Remembrance Day at The Port Credit Legion in Mississauga Ontario!!! Different colours and sizes and shapes.

Here it is all done, twisted rib hat with a flower appliqué and vines ;) Now back to work on my poppies.I have made 50, some a little different then the others!Then of course comes the leave garland next, which I am excited because I have never made on before ;) Pictures to come.

Knitted wristband

Good evening everyone ;)I just wanted to share the wristband I made my husband tonight.A simple cotton knitted band of 3 stitches, in his favorite colour. Next time I will make a cable stitch to fancy it up.

Well I am going to try my hand at making poppies tomorrow on my day off.I will have to dig deep for the right shade of Red though.More to come tomorrow:)

All I think about is yarn bombing;)

I think I am slowly going crazy :( I am obsessed with what I am going to bomb next!With yarn of course.Yesterday I saw the PERFECT tree tall and skinny, but how am I going to get up there to measure and then attach it?A ladder would help but it is at an entrance to a park and planted in an island of concrete, with a lane for enter on one side and an exit on the other ;( I will have to mediate about it! Latters.

Well I am very happy with how it turned out!6 balls of yarn, a few spiders and some glow in the dark paint.It is located at my sisters house in Clarkson.

Great fun doing it with my honey!I do mean yarn bombing!It looks great on the bridge rail in Port Credit ,Mississauga! I wish I could be there in the morning while people are jogging and walking their dogs...When the sun hits that baby tomorrow, WOW.
